Programmer's Paradise Announces "Riding the Crest" and 2007 Partner of the Year Awards

SHREWSBURY, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/07/08 -- Programmer's Paradise, the leading independent marketer of software development and infrastructure tools for technology professionals, announced the winners of its 2007 Riding the Crest® Awards at the company's annual awards ceremony at The Water's Edge in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

The Riding the Crest awards are given annually as Programmer's Paradise recognizes leading products from its exclusive "World View" software ecosystems for Application Lifecycle Management, Virtualization, Security, Database Infrastructure, Networking, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and Business Productivity.

Other CA products were also recognized: CA ERwin Data Modeler for Database Design/Modeling; CA ERwin Modeling Suite for Database Deployment and Migration; CA Threat Manager for the Enterprise as overall Security product winner; and CA ARCserve Backup as overall product winner for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
