BlueWave Technology Launches PipelineClaims(R) 3.0
Claims Management System Unifies Disparate Sources of Information and Provides Centralized Business Platform

Digg This!

BlueWave Technology™, Inc., a provider of property and casualty insurance solutions, today announced the availability of PipelineClaims® 3.0. A Java-based web application that combines traditional claims administration with business process management to centralize claims operations into one business platform, the new version of the product also guides internal and external users throughout the full lifecycle of claims notice, adjustment, and resolution.

PipelineClaims® 3.0 has been built by claims professionals to address the needs of P&C clients. With integration and customization as architectural priorities, the new version provides secure collaboration, extensible workflows, business rules and integration with existing business systems. The PipelineClaims® system includes a layered architecture, a global menu, context-sensitive sidebars, intuitive navigation paths to access required information and comprehensive cross-linking. It also ensures that multiple simultaneously opened claims can be accessed and enables the user to perform contact and claim searches without losing their place in currently viewed claims.

“Insurers are recognizing the importance of flexible solutions,” stated Keith Inouye, COO of BlueWave Technology™.“The PipelineClaims® 3.0 solution not only provides a cost-effective solution to current insurer challenges, but also helps to streamline and update their claims operations. We are pleased to provide the insurance industry with a solution that offers flexibility, customization and a low cost of ownership,” remarked Inouye.

PipelineClaims® 3.0 unifies disparate sources of information related to claims handling within a system that provides a secure and flexible application portal, configurable workflows and customizable business rules based on customer-specific business processes. PipelineClaims® 3.0 provides:

  • Robust claims-related contact management
  • Financials and vendor management
  • Business rules administration including action item management
  • First notice of loss (FNOL) for both the loss incident and claim
  • Comprehensive reporting
  • Integration with document management, policy, check writing and other internal systems

“As part of our technology modernization efforts, we entered into a selection process, evaluating several claims applications. After identifying best-of-breed as a viable approach for Farmers Alliance, we selected PipelineClaims® as the product that best addresses our needs,” commented John Foster, VP of Claims for Farmers Alliance Companies.

PipelineClaims® has been developed with integration and customization as key architectural priorities. Version 3.0 provides options for system customization, workflow configuration, admin-defined fields, business rule plug-ins, a business rule development console, lifecycle and workflow triggers.
